4RPL Syntax Highlighters

Some community made syntax highlighters exist that can be used. Currently, they are only available for Notepad++.

More detailed descriptions can be found on the respective pages for each highlighter.

Notepad++

Link to Highlighter Highlighter by Sanian. Comes with basic spellcheck by underlining offending text in red. A Standard and Dark version are available.

Link to Highlighter Highlighter by Alophox. Does not include spellcheck. This highlighter can be used with multiple themes.

Importing in Notepad++

In order to use the xml file, follow these steps.

Go to the language menu, drop down Go to the user definined language menu Open the Define your language… menu.

You should see this menu:

Click the import button and find the xml file you downloaded and select it. A little pop up should inform you of success. Once that's done, go back to the language drop down and click the 4RPL that shows, when editing a 4rpl script. And you're done!

Themes in Notepad++

White background can be very aggravating for the eyes, especially when you're working long hours into the night. So, here's how to change the theme for Notepad++!

First, go and open Style Configurator under Settings

Then, select a theme of your choice.
